HYFR

Hola

I am SUPER excited atm packing and organising my four month trip to Chicago USA!! Decided to make a lil NastyGal wishlist seeing as
postage will be mega fast and so much cheaper than
sending stuff to Ireland (yay!) AND I friggin love everything on there lately particularly their fringed bags and spiked shorts!

Hope you like it & thanks for checking in :)

Have been wanting one of these Moto leather jackets for so long cant wait to get my hands on one and spike it up myself. The Sam Edelmans are also pretty awesome.
My next post will hopefully be showing you all of my first purchases of my Chicago shopping experience! Mega excited for that!!

Holy Grail Yo

Hi there!
These are my all time favourite basic beauty products that I always reach for and could not live without! They are quite well known products which I'm sure a lot of you will have already tried out and have a personal opinion on, but I thought I'd share my views
on them as I cannot rate each of them highly enough and I know I will always re-purchase!

Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub
I had not heard about this product until after I bought it in Tesco more than a year ago now simply because of the inexpensive
price of €4.50. After a few days of using it I spotted it in numerous beauty blogs like Beautycrush (my idol!)
I always keep double of this scrub because I know I will use it again & again!
I use this every night as I find it very gentle on the skin and sometimes because of this I use it in the mornings to as it is a great way to freshen the skin before going out for the day. It lasts weeks and is particularly amazing when I suffer from stress breakouts on my face(ugh). Favourite product EVER nuff said.

Tresemme 24 hour sky high plumping powder
This is a relatively new product of mine that I purchased when I decided I needed to stop teasing my hair after I got it stripped, which made my hair quite dry. To avoid further breakage and unneccesary damage to my hair but still have that ooommph (oh yes i went there) of volume I found this powder extremely effective.
The volumising results are immediate on my hair which is great as I no longer have to backcomb my hair for days to make it stay high!
I would not recommend this product for everyday use however as it can be quite drying and needs to be washed out
alomost the next day. I tend to only use it when I am heading out clubbing so this has been my experience of it!

Nivea Radiance Boosting Moisturiser
Also a new product, I started using this when I noticed my friend Diane was using it and tried it out a couple of times. As I did  not wear any make-up while working in Spain during the week, I found this moisturiser really great for enhancing my darkening skin tone aswell as adding a nice glow to my face.
At €10 it is more expensive than other daily moisturisers. In a way I regret buying it as I do not use it everyday as I find, as a make-up primer, it is not the best due to its creamy texture & shiny finish. But, I still rate it as a top beauty buy
for those days when I do not feel like weighing my skin down with make-up.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Soft & Gentle
Has to be said, Favourite. Highlighter. Ever.
I have been through a number of highlighters with different finishes such as Urban Decay Naked Palette in Virgin, and Benefit High Beam. High Beam I feel can be quite watery and looks too glossy for me personally. I adore Virgin as a brow higlighter, but to accentuate my cheekbones and give my face that perfect finishing touch I have to say MAC soft & gentle is the best.
Well worth the investment as I use it everyday and still havent noticed it running out as a little goes a long way. Use with a soft angled contouring brush and your away!

Alfaparf Milano Absolute Oil
Before I jetted off to Spain for four months, I went to my hairdresser for a trim and treatment. I knew I would not be able to maintain the condition of my hair as well as I do at home as my job had me out at sea a few times a week and in the pool every other day. She recommended this hair oil to me as I had previously been using John Frieda's Frizz Eaze heat protectant oil which is €6 and would last me no more than a month. This oil I have since February and I still have a quarter of it left. I use it EVERY time I wash my hair on my ends and sometimes fully through to heat protect my hair and keep it oh so glossy :) Love it!
It is €19 a bottle which is mega affordable considering it lasts months and is used in hairdressers.

I think its really interesting to see what effect certain products have on different people, would love to hear what you guys think!
Gonna be blogging a lot more now that I'm moving to Chicago! AAHHHHHH :) superly duperly excited to share stuff on
here!

Peace and love ☮

Tie Dye & Sunrise

Hi all ♥
I haven't blogged in so long I literally did not know where to start! I have been away from home the last four months living and working in Espana! Life has changed a lot in these past months and I've changed for the better too.
Aside from that, I've also changed my style quite a bit! Now, I like to pick up quite grungy pieces and work them into my wardrobe. I think it's important to own staples like skinny jeans,
a black blazer, a white tee & so on, but instead of wearing them together, mix & match
these items with bold materials, velvet, lace, silk, and statement jewellery.

So heres a few of my purchases since I have come home from Spain!

Crop Top // Topshop // €10
Gold chunky necklace // Topshop // €22
Tie Dye mini skirt // ASOS Sale // €12

BOY London Sweatshirt // ASOS // €69

Sunrise body // ASOS Sale // €14

Also bought a added a few pieces of jewellery to my hefty collection over the past few months, not going to bombard you with pics just couple of my faves! My 21st last month would have
contributed slighlty ;)

L to R
Silver and Turquoise Ring // Gift from Vintage shop in Spain // Gold Ring // Accessorize // €6 // Ear cuff //
ASOS // €11 // Cross Earring // Topman // €1 // Hamsa pendant // Vintage //
Silver and Black circle necklace // H&M // €4.50
L to R
Evil eye necklace // ASOS // gift // Gold torc // H&M // €4.50
Gold Casio watch // ASOS // Gift from Boyfriend  // Gold chunky necklace // as above
Loving being able to blog again, all I would love now is to gain  more followers to encourage me to post more stuff! I'm moving to Chicago (I KNOWWW!!) for four months in a few weeks
so I know i'll have loads of amazing things to blog about. Hell Ya F*ckin Right!

XO's

This is maybe what I would call my 'room in pictures'!! I'm not big on vlogging as I adore writing and writing is what I shall pursue ;) So I went crazy with Instagram and snapped a number of my things.

From left to right the jewellery box is just a tenth of the jewellery my room is smothered in! But I
just love the little box that I keep these special items of jewellery in as it has a velvet base and cream lace on the lid, beaut! all of the rings are from market stalls except the silver one which is white gold and from H Samuel :)

These two scarves are my fave of my little collection as they have a gorgeous gold chain print which I love and is actually big in RI right now they have tops, leggings and loads of scarves with this print which adds a retro vintage touch but yet is very elegant! The pink scarf is from primark and the navy one is from A-wear.

The leopard print ankle booties are just the most adorable piece of footwear I own so I had to share them!
They are from this year's sales from Topshop, reduced from €99 to €45 so i pretty much got the best deal ever! They are so comfy and are perfect teamed with black tights, a leathr skirt and sheer white blouse, with piles of gold jewelery!

The zebra print bag I have had for years and is a perfect clutch for a night out as it holds so much yet is
so dainty! I bought it in a boutique in dublin years ago so it isnt available anymore. The skull scarf is from Primark and it is right up my street as I love anything skull printed, but not tacky!

The headphones I am wearing are MONSTER beats by Dr. Dre and are my babies I wouldnt go anywhere without them, the sound quality is. just. amazinggg!! cannot rave enough about these beauts!! And last but not least are my rail of clothes and my kawaii likkle Hello Kitty stuffed teddies! Both were a present from my
boyfriend from his trip to Israel :)

TY lovelies

I Must not Lust

So yeah, the time has come.. I just got back the deposit from the student house the day after I find
a clothing site with the most insanely gorgeous pieces! http://www.batoko.com/ followed me on twitter the other day and I must say I was rather disappointed in myself for not coiming across their
site before now!

Similar to Yayer.com they have  MODERN & VINTAGE sections which I love because
my style is such a mixture of modern and vintage pieces thrown together!
Both of these pieces stood out to me the most, I have a gold skirt similar to the one
paired with the sheer black blouse, and I know this outfit would look incredible
with my JC Litas! The Red slouch cardi is a vintage piece that is very
affordable and looks to be of a very good quality so I shall deffo be purchasing :)

red slouch cardigan £35

sheer blouse £28

Smut Appeal

So I came across this wicked clothing&accessories site some time ago and fell in love with their unique style instantly! I love the edgyness of the designs and naughty "will i or wont i" feel about
the tees. What also caught my eye is the amazing photography skills used on their site,
and I feel they use 'normal' everyday models posing provacatively in
a very witty way, which I feel makes makes their brand sexy yet fun to wear!

The pictures above are just a snippet of the range available which i ADORE because they push boundaries
on current fashion and appeal to me because they dont follow a uniform style, they vary
their styles and also models. Cannot rave enough about this brand!! Ultimate SMUT appeal ;)
Would happily model for this brand anyday, in any way ;)

Recent finds

Blazer - Zara TRF// Fur stole - H&M// Bag - Zara TRF// Cross chain - Topshop// Top - Topshop

So I've been to the sales here in Dublin and I must say I was slightly dissapointed to find nothing but summer playsuits and junk from two years ago that nobody wants :/ but I managed to pick up these few things on recent shopping days. The only item that was actually on sale was the sequinned bag from Zara which was down from €20 to €13.95 and I have rn it to EVERY party I've been to over the Christmas! Holds the right amount of stuff for a night out - lipstick, moneys, phone, perfume (minus my dignity however, lost that long ago :/)

The monocrome detail of the blazer needed something extra thats why I teamed it with this brown fur stole from H&M - €15. I wore this Blazer with a sheer black maxi skirt and a snake print vest with my JC Lita's (both below)

Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell Lita// Vest - Primark

I will be styling all these items and more in my next few posts, how I wore them and alternative ways to wear them :)

Take Care,

Jennifer
