Guilt Trip

Been loving the chill life in Espana lately, with only two more weeks to go! Which is kind of bittersweet as I will be super emotional leaving the family & saying goodbye to the girls, but I am looking forward to seeing my own family & my mister! I definitely think that one month was sufficient time for me to experience everyday life in Catalunya, as if I stayed for longer I would feel like a bit out of touch with my own everyday life and my University work that needs catching up on! So I will most definitely enjoy my month at home before heading back to college in September!

As it is a Sunday, what else would I be doing only raking through the online sales that are actually quite good this year which is surprising enough! Been on ASOS a lot in particular, and found that much of the items in my Saved items section were on sale as well as so many other cute summer items! Have composed my must have picks from the ASOS 70% Sale with links to each item below!

were €39 now €15
Love the wash on these jeans! I stopped wearing lightwash denim ages ago when I discovered that dark jeans are so much more flattering for my figure. But now that it is summer I want
to move away from black skinnies and these are perfect, and the price is ridiculous for a decent pair of jeans, €15!

was €33 now €23
Paisley print is always super feminine and boho, and the colours on this dress are perfect, love the shape of the dress as I can never wear strappy dresses because of my bust size, so the round neck, sleeveless shape is perfect for me. Also, think it looks just like something from Urban Outfitters which would set you back about 60 quid for s dress like this so it is deffo affordable.

was €37 now €23
Again with the paisley print because it is my favourite at the mo and I am looking for a paisley chiffon blouse but no luck yet, but this Motel crop top is gorgeous and the smokey orange colour is perfect to wear in the summer but also transitions really well into the autumn.

were €4 now €2
Not to everyones taste, but I absolutely love these lil fishnet socks, maybe  not paired with silver heels but I would wear them with my converse or a pair of brogues, love them!!

was €80 now €47
One of my best picks of the bunch is this American Apparel Disco Skirt. Saw these while I was in Chicago but deffo was not up for paying 80 dollars for a skirt at the time, but the material is just so slimming and comfortable at the same time. I have the black Disco Pants and I have gotten soooo much wear out of them both for nights and and day trips and University!

was €39 now €19
This skirt has been in my saved items for so long because I love the colour, it's so versatile and the fit looks amazing. Was a bit on the expensive side for me at first but 20 euro off the price is great!

was €39 now €24
Absolutely in LOVE with this bag and the amazing price! Saw a bag like this in Topshop a while back but the price was just a no-no but I am obsessed with everything about this bag, the colour, the quilting and the silver hardware! God knows I have enough bags but this has got to join my collection I think!!

was €53 now €20
Massive price drop for such a gorgeous skirt! Havent seen anything like this in the shops with the lace trim on the ends, just a perfect casual summer skirt!

were €46 now €18
Been looking for a pair of pinstripe trousers but not black and white as I think they are too in your face, but the neutral grey and off white together here is gorgeous and I really like fitted trousers lately. Mint. And amazing price.

#10 Tshirt
was €15 now €9
Loving tie dye this summer and the shape of the tee is perfect for this hot Spanish weather as anything with sleeves is a no-no!

Hope you found something to your liking here or find something else on ASOS as there is such a good sale on right now on lots of really good brands as well as ASOS on brand items. I love so much of the sale jewellery in particular but that's a whole other area that I couldn't possibly fit into one post!!
Hope you are all enjoying the Irish sun, make the most of it while it lasts! I'm trying to get a headstart on College work before September starts cos it is only going downhill from there!

Just want to finish by saying I am appalled at the decision of the jury regarding the case of Trayvon Martin. I know there are so many people right now who are in this position as it seems only humane to think that one mans who takes the life of a youth voluntarily, should be punished. And what gets me the most are the pictures of the final verdict and the smiles and look of utter glee on Zimmerman's face when he was found not guilty was just unbearable to look at. How cruel.

Don't Shoe Wish You Could Have it All

Lately I have been so obsessed with Shoes, and I know that might sound a bit obvious for someone who loves all things fashion, but for me, for everyday wear I always stick to my trusty Cons! They just go with everything and are the comfiest thing to chuck on whenever I am going absolutely anywhere!!
But now that Summer is here, its a bit too hot here in Spain to be wearing trainers so I have been keeping my eye out for sandals and more lighweight shoes for everyday wear. Also been loving the strappy sandal trend that had taken over this Summer and have already invested in a holographic pair that I featured here.

As always, high street shops are my main port of call when it comes to shoes, especially heels as I cannot fathom forking out hundreds on a pair of shoes that I only wear on special occasions because I would actually cry everytime I looked at them!! Even though I do lust over them, a lot!! I do have a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Lita's from a couple of years ago but they were a gift from my Momma and I wore them to death!! Now, I think there is such a wide variety of dupes for designer shoes on the likes of Asos, Boohoo and eBay that there is no need to pay a lot of money for a stylish pair of shoes! Took some inspo from tumblr for these snaps and below are some of my top high street footwear picks!

Here are some of my favourite Summer shoes in store right now :) Funnily enough from Missguided & Zara, my two fave places for shoes at the mo!

Neon Yellow Heels//Missguided
Black Gladiators//Missguided

Hope this post gave you some insirpation to go out and make a sneaky purchase because we are so lucky to have a scorcher back home this Summer in Ireland which means parties and BBQ's and all sorts, so investing in a good Summer shoe is never a bad idea!!
Love these neon court heels from Missguided and so reasonably priced compared to the Louboutin lookalike!!

Hope you are all having an amazing week in the sun, would love to hear all of your plans in the comments! In a couple of days, I am going into Barcelona with my aupair family and we are going on oneof those tour buses so I'm gonna see loads and take lots of stunning piccies :) Other than that I am topping up my tan every day!  Had a fattie night last night with the girls and ate copious amounts of fizzy sweets and Milka Oreos!! And I finally bought some proper tea Happy Dayssss!
For now, Hasta Luego Chicas!

M'encantaa Espanaaa ☮

So much love for Spain right now!
I am only here one week today & I know this is the place I want to be forever! I love the food, the people, the music, the style, and how absolutely everything & everyone is so laid back and interesting. The live life with no worries and I knew I would feel right at home again! When I arrived at the airport I was greeted by two beautiful girls that I get to spend a month knowing, teaching and becoming best friends with

I was made immediately welcome by the nicest, loving family! Already in just one week we have had the best time!! We went to a stunning beach & had yummy paella. We have had gone for lunch & dinner in a local restaurant which has the calmest, friendliest atmosphere! Also, on the night of 'Freedom for Catalunya', they family had friends over and made Mojitos which were to die for!! As the family live at the foot of the Monserrat Mountain me & the girls go for walks in the evenings and we have such a stunning view that I am going to miss so much when I leave!!

Couple of days ago me and the girls went shopping!!! Yay fave thing to do and in Spain, shopping is soooo much better. Prices are roughly the same as at home, but here they have some more cheaper shops like Bershka, Pull & Bear, Shana & Stradivarius and loads more little jewellery and accessory shops! Had a fun lil' photoshoot with the girls today modelling their new clothes & my new stuff! Hope you likey! Sales have started in Spain also so got much of the stuff reduced! We spent over an hour in Pull & Bear so you will find that most of the stuff is from there! Such cute & cheap pieces for the Summer that I can wear when I go home too!

Shorts//Pull&Bear//reduced to €5

Tank top//Bershka

Top//Hollister//reduced to €16.99

Colour block tops//Pull&Bear//reduced to €3.99

All of the clothes above are a mix of my clothes & the girls. Particularly love the white Japan top that I got in Pull&Bear as it has such a cool design and is so lightweight and perfect for during the day or going out with a pair of black skinnies and heels! And it was only a tenner!! The Sunnies were something I wasn't keen on at first, but I loved the purlescent effect on the frames and they look so good in the sun!! Because like a tonta, I stepped on and broke my sunglasses the first day I got here!

Having such an amazing time with the girls cant believe a week is gone already! We went to their band practice last night and that was just deadly to watch and they are playing soon at
a concert next weekend which will be pretty cool!
Cannot rave enough about my time here so far, making friends for life and amazing memories. LOVE LIFE

Travelling essentials ✈

As promised, here is my guide to travel essentials, as I am getting ready to leave for Barcelona! As I am flying with
Ryanair and baggage prices are ridiculous, I decided just to go with 15kg because I didn't want to overload my case with stuff I really didn't need, and I thought a 10kg carry-on wouldn't be enough for a month's worth of clothes!! This isn't a very hefty post with lots of different kinds of creams and unnecessary things cramming up my case! I really managed to narrow
down my toiletries to what I need the most, as I am going to be living with a family rather than my own place!
As for tips, I haven't got tips as such but rather little steps  like I to take to make sure I have everything I need!
As I am leaving tomorrow, and I always leave everything to the last minute, I decided to pack most of my clothes last week
so that I wouldn't have to be rushing trying to get things washed and ironed and s**t! So as for clothes there is nothing too out of the ordinary.

--> couple of pairs of denim cut-offs
--> three mini skirts
--> one black pencil skirt
--> tank tops
--> two playsuits
--> three dresses
--> lots of daytime tshirts
--> four crop tops
--> three light cardigans
--> one pair of black skinnies
--> two pairs of sandals
--> Nike trainers for hikes
--> one pair of strappy heels
--> bikinis

My suitcase is from Pennies and it was a birthday present from the parentals! It was around €24, which is great for a medium sized suitcase as I will use it again for college in September & wherever my travels take me after that! Thrown into this case I have some Baby powder which I won't go anywhere without!
This is just normal for me, and anyone who I have suggested to try it, swear by it now! At home, I use it after I get out of the shower just to get rid of that stickyness that a towel
won't get rid of. In Spain, it will be my lifesaver on really hot days to put under my arms and any area that sweats (sounds gross) because it will soften and dry any unwanted patches! Trust me it's my all-time holy grail product! Also got the new Simple For Baby wipes, as there are 80 in a pack for just €2 and they are much gentler than Johnson's baby wipes which are way
too harsh on my face. Cosmo mag to keep me occupied for travelling and also to use to help the girls learn English in a fun way :)

This is my little toiletries bag, which is a gift bag that had lots of Soap & Glory products inside as a Christmas pressie! It is the perfect size to hold what I need.

#1 Ambre Solaire Sun Cream
I was unsure about what factor to go with as I am not sure how hot it is over in Barcelona. But it is known to be cooler than other areas such as Seville, where my friend Diane is for the summer and the heat is meant to be hella hot there!
So I think SPF20 is ookay for now!

#2 John Frieda Frizz Ease
Love this stuff. I have the thermal protect serem which is a really lightweight oil that doesn't make my hair too greasy too fast and leaves it super soft after blow-drying! And my hair will need a protectant from the sun and this worked
wonders in Spain last year! About €8 usually but I got this on offer in Tesco for like €4, YAY :)

#3 Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo
I haven't tried this particular Shampoo but I have seen the ad with Nicole Shcherzinger and yes I want hair like hers haha. It was also on offer for half price so I thought I would try it out, as I like to switch up the shampoo I use regularly. Have any of you tried this one yet?? Smells delish!

#4 Other random bits
Tootpaste, loofa, shower gel, yadda yadda you know what that stuff does!!

I use this Palmer's Cocoa Butter moisturiser at the mo because I wanted something a little richer for my skin as I have some dry spots on my arms and this stuff is amazing for making my skin so smooth. I don't use it everynight as I don't feel like I need to because the moisture lasts days. Smells so good too. Usually around €9 in Boots but Penney's now also stock this for much cheaper!

Bit of an odd product to be carrying with me going out into the Sun (duh), but I will use this tonight so I will have a light tan going over because I don't want to be completely pasty white for the first week! This lasts a couple of days even after showering and can be reapplied without getting cakey or smudged! €17 in most Boots stores, but luckily I got this on offer for €9.99 in my local chemist, score!

 I bought this body spray in the Hollister store in Chicago last year. It is a lovely mix of fruity & flowery and the perfect summer smell as it is not a perfume and can be just spritzed all over. £12.

These products should keep me going til I come home, with possibly some stuff lefover to bring home, because I hate waste so I keep everything until the last drop is gone! Hope you guys liked this post, and let me know in the comments what your travelling essentials are and what products I should be trying, as I need a new face moisturiser but nothing so far seems to work perfect for me.
As I am travelling to Barca tomorrow, its Adios for now! Hopefully I will get the chance to put up some blogposts at the weekend when I have settled in and begun my exploring! My boyfriend is actually in Barcelona right now, and sent me this beautiful picture from where he visited Lleida last week. So pretty

Hasta luego chicas y muchas gracias por vuesto apoyo!

Tumblr is Toxic

Hey Y'all!
So by now most of you may have seen or heard about the article on 'Toxic' Rihanna, featured in the Daily Mail by none other than
sourpuss Liz Jones. I have yet to read a positive, stimulating article written by this journalist that makes me
wanna get up and do something for the better.
I think we could benefit from a fresh set of creative and inspiring views because in fairness, there is enough bad news circulating these days without having journalists, with very sloppy phrasing, suggesting that overrated celebs like Rihanna should come with a "government health warning". I mean, come on? For real woman get a grip!! Not a major fan of Rihanna tbf, but there are worse problems out there lady! I understand and appreciate the point Jones was trying to make about role models, but should have stayed within reason. She is a real person with real feelings and this article went a bit too far with the public slandering, so she got as good as she gave! Should we instead be teaching the youth to publicly humiliate those who are different to us? I think not?
Each to their own I say!

So when I was deciding what to write about today, I figured that I should stay in tune with this 'Toxic' mayhem and get all wordy like Ms Jones and her gripping headline, "Poisonous Pop Princess" (so cringe!!), and name this blogpost Toxic Tumblr Tuesday. Huraaahhh! I am ridiculously addicted to tumblr, as you all probably know by now! And instead of just linking you my tumblr blog, as not everyone has a tumblr or even knows what it is, I decided to choose some of the pictures from my blog and share them on here so you guys can have a better insight into my style tastes and some of my more outlandish preferences
when it comes to fashion! Hope you guys like these pics
and maybe create your own tumblr! It is a brilliant way to see people's photography and art and it is no means just a
'hipster' social network but a place for people to express
their individuality in pictures!

I follow over 200 blogs on tumblr and I try to update my own blog everyday or at least every two days because if you lose interest in it, people lose interest in your blog & unfollow you! Harsh I know haha, but I tend to do the same if I see someone hasn't reblogged in like two weeks! Here are my top 10 favourite blogs to reblog :)

Go create a tumblr page if you already haven't, or send me your links in the comments I am always looking for new tumblr blogs to follow! & Cheers for stopping by!
